SOMA - An Embodied Compassion Retreat
Co-led by Dr Amy Finlay-Jones and Gestalt practitioner and wilderness guide Steven Harper, SOMA weaves contemporary psychology, mindfulness, and deep ecological awareness into an experiential week of practice and integration. Participants are supported to cultivate embodied compassion — a form of care that is grounded, discerning, and sustainable — and to develop greater clarity in how they relate, lead, create, and serve.
Compassionate Boundaries: A One-Day Workshop
A full-day workshop on learning to honour your needs, communicate with steadiness and follow through on the promises you make to yourself. Through guided practices and real-life scenarios, you’ll explore why boundaries feel hard and how to hold them with clarity and care. Presented by Associate Professor Amy Finlay-Jones.
Softer Sundays: An Urban Retreat
We're barely two months into the year, and already the pace feels relentless. Before the weeks blur into months, what if you gave yourself permission to pause? Join us for Softer Sundays on March 8 - a half-day urban retreat in Shenton Park where we practice the radical act of slowing down together. Through self-compassion meditation, sound healing, connection rituals, and contemplative writing, we're cultivating a space for deep rest and reconnection. If you're seeking a softer place to land, we invite you to join us.
